Feeding Stars to Cats

Swatches of Meryl, one of the polishes I got in my first monthly box from Julep. Its a neutral gray creme. Pics taken in the shade (pics 1 & 2), and sunlight (pic 3; although the sun was starting to set so it has that obvious setting sun~ tint to it).

The consistency of this polish was very thin. Since this was my first Julep polish I wasn’t expecting the polish to be so thin so I ended up screwing up two nails at first (excess polish from the near the handle suddenly dripped down and flooded my nails!) and had to strip them off to redo them. But once I applied them correctly (lol), it took 2-3 coats to cover each nail. This is my third day wearing this color and I think they still look really good.

I’m normally super picky about gray polishes, but I’m really liking this one! Probably because its a true gray without any sort of undertone to it.
