What I Wore Today, May 13th: polka dots, peter pan collar, heart print tights (which are barely noticable) and oxfords.

For the life of me I can’t smile in a photo. Anyway, my usual expression no matter what is :| so I guess it doesn’t really matter lol. (Although my expression is a little…menacing here? I CAN’T HELP IT. I AM CUDDLY ON THE INSIDE.)

A What I Wore Today from the day I came home to my laptop in a puddle of cat pee, May 5th. These tights from ModCloth are becoming one of my favorites. I will cling to wearing them until the weather becomes just too damn hot (which is probably soon since this is Texas).

And once again I’d like to rec the Etsy shop Golden Ponies, which is the shop I ordered these custom oxfords from. The shop is currently closed right now, but they have an awesome selection of shoes and bags/satchels in a variety of colors. The prices for their items are probably quite affordable for being custom made? These shoes I ordered were $39. (If anyone has questions about the quality or anything else about my GP experience let me know!)

The silliest What I Wore Today entry ever. Put together furniture at New House and came back exhausted and sweaty, and decided taking a double thumbs-up shot was what I needed I guess. Then my dog wanted to join in. Enjoy his butt, tumblr.

Oh yeah, and that’s a bug that wandered around me while i was taking pics. Say hi!

Anyway, that’s my Kotetsu shirt, new jeggings from PacSun (love the color!) and really cool moth earrings I purchased from Fab.com.

What I Wore Today, April 24th: Cat Lady outfit. Shirt from Hey Chickadee, skirt from Forever 21, American Eagle Outfitters belt, cat ears ring from Unexpected Expectancy, silver cuff from ASOS, leather bracelet from Target, and shoes from ebay.

Came home from another trip to Ikea Houston and was waiting for Mom to leave for Bingo because, lol, it is kinda embarrassing posing for my outfit shots in front of her? But then finally I just mumbled “um, gonna go take a pic of my outfit” and she was like ‘OH LET ME TAKE ONE!” So here it is:

My hair if being quite flippy today. And possibly a bit of duck butt hair in the first pic here.

What I Wore Today, April 18th: romper and heart patterned tights from ModCloth, shoes and sunglasses from ebay.

Spotted this romper during ModCloth’s 75% off sale near the beginning of the year and snapped it up despite having a previous DNW stance toward rompers. Looking back, my irrational dislike of rompers was pretty much due to what seemed like EVERYONE saying how much they hated this article of clothing. But I bought this and it had been sitting in my closet until now, AND REMIND ME NEVER TO LET PEOPLE’S NEGATIVE THOUGHTS GET TO ME. Rompers are actually a fun piece of clothing and this one was super comfortable to wear. Also, I’m really liking how it fits so well in my torso area. I just have to remember to not put it in the dryer whenever it comes time to wash or else it’ll shrink from its perfection.

Also, Also: Its been like 6 months since I last got a haircut, and now the overgrown layers are sorta giving me a bit of duckbutt hair.

What I Wore Today, April 11th. Forever a grumpyface, especially with the wind blowing my hair into my face.

I loveeeee this top, but I really need to take in the sides a bit. Its a little too baggy for me.

What I Wore Today, March 31st: crappy photo edition! lmao I completely failed to even attempt to take a decent shot of my outfit today even though I really liked it.

Anyway, I love these shoes!

So you might notice that comparing the first pic to the last pic something is missing. That would be my tights. Our truck has no a/c and it is hot as hell’s balls here in Texas. So when we stopped at a McDonald’s on our way back from Houston I went into a restroom, took them off, and walked out with those tights slung across my shoulder and ordered a burger. DON’T EVEN CARE OKAY, that’s how much the heat was affecting me.

Also, at that moment in the restroom I noticed I’d been wearing my underwear inside out all day. Awwwww yeahhh, I am a classy lady.

Also, also: I totally squished a banana by sitting on it an hour later.

What I Wore Today, March 23rd: bringing this horse print dress back out! Its a fave of mine even though the back has a keyhole that requires me to always have a cardigan on. Oh wait, a camisole would work too. /very belated common sense

Even though I cannot wear sunglasses since LOL SUPER BAD EYESIGHT NEED PRESCRIPTION ONES I ordered these cheap cat-eye ones from ebay. I feel very sassy in them. I will wear them when I’m taking naps on car rides.

What I Wore Today, Mar 12th. Teal, fuchsia, turquoise, green! I think the shot I took of the nails on my left hand (which has China Glaze’s For Audrey and Eyeko’s Vintage) shows the subtle differences between the two polishes better than the ones I posted yesterday.

What I Wore Today, February 17th: Lazy blogger’s edition (i.e. I didn’t bother to take a pic of myself)

cotton-cashmere sweater from J Crew’s boys section bought during the most amazing after Christmas sale. HAVE YOU SEEN J CREW’S PRICES, THEY GET RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. This was like $25 when the original price was like $90+. 0_o But it was a good online find since its the most comfortable sweater ever, I WISH I HAD FOUND MORE IN A SIZE BOYS 10.
